Mazda Locking Wheel Nut

For Mazda locking wheel nuts of this design, select the DY3 chisel blade.

Our patented Dynomec locking wheel nut removal system is specially engineered to clear the raised chrome cap while allowing the blade to locate directly onto the profile.

  • Material Note: Please note that this specific Mazda locking wheel nut uses a harder steel alloy compared to standard variants. Proper alignment and precise tool setup are essential to ensure equal force is distributed across each tooth of the DY3 blade during removal.

As highlighted in the LEFT and RIGHT diagrams above, align the teeth of the DY3 blade directly into the indentations on the locking wheel nut.

Alignment Tip: Because each locking wheel nut features a unique combination and spacing of indentations around its profile, the blade teeth will not always align with two directly opposing slots. Aligning at least one tooth cleanly into an indentation is sufficient to gain initial purchase and work the blade into position.

Tool alignment and centralisation are key to an effective removal and maintaining equal force across each tooth of the DY3 blade. Try to utilise our Multi-Fit Shroud System whenever possible. The shroud assists with tool centralisation within the wheel pocket, protects the alloy from damage, and helps direct force straight into the locking mechanism.

Note: Certain wheel pocket designs, sizes, or vehicle setups may restrict clearance and prevent shroud usage.
